HELLO,
I’M Janelle!
An expat from Colorado who has called Berlin home for over 10 years, I’m a UX designer interested in sustainability, design for good and making a meaningful impact on the world.
At my core, I’m a proactive go-getter and a natural problem-solver. My unique perspective and skillset enable me to uncover effective solutions.
If you’re interested in working together, you can count on my dedication, creative insight, and problem-solving skills to help improve your project.
MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I’ve had a diverse variety of professional experiences – from hairstyling and bartending to project management. In these positions I have gained a wide range of skills that have helped shape my approach to design.
Working directly with customers in many settings, I believe that the user’s needs should always come first. I am people-oriented and I thrive when I am helping others.

MY SKILLS
I am equipped with a specialized combination of technical and interpersonal skills.
My toolset includes Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro, Jira, Confluence, WordPress, and Trello.
I am open-minded and a communicative team player. I am also deeply empathetic, which allows me to design user-centered solutions that truly meet the needs of my clients.
WHAT DRIVES ME
Sustainability and climate change are important topics for me, and I believe that design should be used to make a difference and not just for aesthetics. I am committed to using my skills and resources to make a positive impact on the world around me.

MY PASSIONS
When I’m not working, you can find me in the great outdoors hiking, bike riding, and going on walks with my four-legged friend, Walt.
I find that being in nature helps me to clear my mind and find inspiration for my work.
